Napa Valley Wildlife Mural
Discover Napa’s wild side, at the Library.
The Library’s exterior walls come alive with vibrant depictions of local wildlife: a hawk soaring overhead, a bobcat and her kitten resting, and a jackrabbit pausing alert on a rock. Each visit is a chance to discover something new— whether it’s spotting a hidden animal, following a bird in motion, or simply appreciating the beauty that surrounds you.
The mural is part of the Library’s mission to spark curiosity, inspire learning, and connect everyone to the wonders of the natural world.
About the Artist
The mural was created by Afsoon Razavi, a Napa Valley-based artist and graphic designer whose work draws inspiration from the beauty and mystery of the natural world. Her work transforms ideas into engaging visual experiences, from murals, paintings, and illustrations to impactful designs for wine, publishing, and environmental media.
With this mural, her goal was to create a “wildlife scavenger hunt” outside the Library where spotting one animal leads to the excitement of finding another - inviting visitors of all ages to delight in the surprise of stumbling upon these creatures.
