Get ready for a day full of creativity and family fun right here at the Napa Library! Festivities kick off at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. We have an incredible line-up of local artists and small businesses. And don't miss the costume contest!

10:00 a.m. Geek Out Napa Valley Begins! Artists, authors, and vendors will be stationed in the parking lot. We also have a lot going on inside the library! Check it out:
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Dungeons & Dragons - Teen Room Register Here
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Crafts - Children's Room
10:15 a.m. Music Connection - Community Room
11 a.m. Panel Discussion: "Inspiration Through Animation" with Kyle Gabriel, Louis Gonzales, Alexia Valentine, and Vivian Yoon - Community Room
12 - 12: 30 p.m. Costume Contest - See guidelines below - Community Room
12:30 - 2 p.m. LARP Art Workshop - Community Room
2 - 4 p.m. Video Game Tournament - Teen Room
2 p.m. Storytime with Mychal Threets* - Community Room
2:30 to 4 p.m. Movie & Crafts - Community Room

Costume Contest Guidelines
All contestants' costumes must align with county, event, and library rules.
There will be three categories based on age:
Kids (up to age 11)
Teen (12 to 18)
Adult (18+)
Family Friendly – Geek Out Napa Valley is a family friendly, all-ages event. Please keep all costumes, cosplay, and clothes free from strong language, graphic imagery, hate symbols (contemporary and historical), and sexualized imagery. Please use common sense, be aware of your surroundings, and considerate of fellow attendees.
Coverage – All costumes and cosplay must cover, at minimum, the same areas as a swimsuit. Please consider a morph suit, unitard, bodysuit, or other similar foundation wear to ensure your wardrobe remains PG.
Shoes – Footwear is required at all times, regardless of costume.
Right of Refusal: Judges reserve the right to refuse any cosplay or costume if deemed inappropriate, revealing, or offensive.
Parking
There is a free parking garage located at 1100 5th Street, adjacent to the library. The 2nd and 4th floors offer all-day parking. Street parking is also available.
