Friends of the Yountville Library

Meetings

History

The Friends of the Yountville Library group was organized in 1987 to support the Yountville Library.

Services

The Friends of the Napa Library support the Napa Library in many different areas including:

  • By raising funds, primarily through used book sales, to help the Yountville Library purchase needed items, such as furniture, computers, and materials for the collection, and to sponsor programs for children.
  • By assisting the Library in hosting special events.
  • By maintaining an association of persons interested in libraries and focusing public attention on the library.
  • By supporting and cooperating with the Library in developing library services and facilities for the community.
  • By supporting the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to Read Statement.
