WiFi

WiFi is available at each Napa County Library location. The wireless network is open to all. A library card is not needed for access and there is no password.

To access, select Napa County Library from the available networks. Open your browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome), agree to the terms and conditions, and begin searching the Internet.


Public Computers

Public computers are available at all branches of the Napa County Library. Computer use is limited to two hours per patron with a library card. There is no charge to use our computers.

Use your valid Napa County Library card, library card from a cooperative library, or a guest pass to log in at a public computer. Help with computers and software is available during library hours. No food or drink allowed near the public computers. Ear buds and flash drives are for sale at the Circulation Desk.

Time Limit: 2-hour sessions. Computer sessions end 10 minutes before the Library closes.

  • Microsoft Office 2019 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access)
  • Google Earth, Adobe Reader

Library staff are available to help with technology by appointment.


Security and Liability

The Internet is a public communications network. Information sent to or from your wireless device, or when using library-provided computers, may be intercepted by a third party. Transmitting any personal information such as passwords, credit card, or Social Security numbers while using any public access network is not recommended. Virus and security protection on personal technology devices is also the responsibility of the patron. The library assumes no responsibility for damage, theft, or loss of any kind to a patron’s equipment, software, or data files.
